The Edmonton Oilers and general manager Peter Chiarelli shocked the hockey world this past summer when they dealt what was considered a cornerstone of their franchise in Taylor Hall.

The move was criticized by some, but was also looked like as a changing of the guard with Connor McDavid being named captain just a little while after.

It looks like the Oilers could make another huge move as forward Jordan Eberle's name is starting to pop up in trade rumours again.

Eberle started the season playing with Connor McDavid and Milan Lucic, however he would eventually lose his spot to Leon Draisaitl and Eberle now finds himself playing on the Oilers third line.

NHL Insider  Darren Dreger pointed out on TSN 1260 according to Chris Nichols, that this a tell tale sign that Eberle could be on the move.

Dreger says the asking price has always been high for Eberle as he was always looked at as a big part of the team's core, however he might no longer be that and could be moved if the value is there.

Do you think Eberle will be on the move before the deadline?
