While things on the trade front got a little quiet after the huge Matt Duchene trade which also saw Kyle Turris land in Nashville, the Anaheim Ducks and New Jersey Devils decided to shake up the hockey world.
On Thursday the team's announced they've made a trade involving three players and two draft picks.
The New Jersey Devils will acquire defenseman Sami Vatanen and a conditional draft pick while the Anaheim Ducks will acquire forward Adam Henrique, Joseph Blandisi and a 2018 3rd round pick.
It's a pretty interesting trade as both teams get exactly what they need, the Ducks get some great depth up front while the Devils strengthen up their blue line.
It's surprising to see the Devils let go of Henrique who was an alternate captain and a big part of the team the last couple of years.
Who do you think won this trade?
