It's been an interesting pause in the NHL season so far.
While the KHL season has officially been canceled because of the pandemic the NHL season remains paused.
The weird limbo of the NHL hasn't stopped players from jumping leagues whether it be KHL to NHL or NHL to KHL.
The latest big name to switch places is Ottawa Senators' forward Mikkel Boedker as he'll be heading to HC Lugano of the NLA.
According to reports he's signed a two year deal with Lugano.
At 30 years old, that probably indicates that Boedker's time in the NHL.
While there's always been some hype around him, the 2008 #8 overall pick has just never been able to really get things going in the NHL and finishes his career with 327 points in 709 career NHL games in Phoenix, Colorado, San Jose and the last two seasons in Ottawa.
