The Arizona Coyotes have found themselves once again on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs.

The team hasn't qualified for the playoffs since the 2011-12 and if things continue on the same pace, they won't be making it back anytime soon.

Earlier in the season the team decided to trade young forward Anthony Duclair, and it looks like they might be ready to trade another prospect.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Coyotes are checking out what kind of value Domi could bring on the trade market.

The insider doesn't think Domi requested a trade or the team is desperate to trade him, but he believes the team is continually just looking to get younger.

Domi was drafted 12th overall during the 2013 draft but after scoring 18 goals in his rookie season in 2015-16, Domi has had trouble producing since with just nine goals last year and only three goals in 55 games this year.

He has still been making plays as he has 83 assists in 195 games so far in his career with a total of 113 points in that span.
