It's been a tough couple of years for youngster Alex Galchenyuk.

He just hasn't lived up to potential after scoring 30 goals during the 2015-16 season.

The 27 year old has been on 5 different teams in the last 4 years and that was part of the reason he was having trouble finding a contract this offseason.

Galchenyuk will be returning to one of those teams.

NHL insider Pierre LeBrun reports that Galchenyuk has signed a PTO with the Arizona Coyotes who he spent the 2018-19 season with.

Galchenyuk ended last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs where he registered 4 goals and 8 assists in 26 games and registered 4 points in 6 playoff games.
