The NHL season is just two days away and teams are still trying to figure out their salary cap and rosters before they need to finalize it.

With that in mind, there's actually still some pretty reliable free agents left on the board and one of them looks to have found a new home.

After receiving negotiating offers from at least five teams, Ben Hutton has finally made his decision.

Despite the various offers, the 27 year old has signed a PTO with the Anaheim Ducks.

Much like Mike Hoffman and the St. Louis Blues or Michael Del Zotto with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the PTO just likely means the Ducks want to figure out their salary cap situation before getting a Hutton salary and contract on the books.

More to come.
