It seems that almost anytime a former head coach gets a television gig, he gets a new head coaching job within a couple of months.

The latest is former Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings head coach, Mike Babcock.

After taking some time off, Babcock joined the NBC Sports broadcast team in a studio role, Babcock has found a new gig.

Babcock announced that he'll be joining the University of Saskatchewan's hockey team and take on the head coaching role.

It seems Babcock might have to work his way back into the NHL after some stories came out about his treatment of certain players.

More details to come.
