It's official.

Montreal Canadiens president and owner Geoff Molson has cleaned house.

General manager Marc Bergevin along with Trevor Timmins and Paul Wilson have been fired.

Bergevin is done as his contract was expiring at the end of season after a 10 year run with no indications of a new contract coming.

Timmins had been promoted to assistant general manager in 2017 and had been with the Canadiens for 25 years.

Wilson was the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications.

Jeff Gorton, former New York Rangers GM, officially steps in as VP of hockey operations.

Geoff Molson will hold a press conference tomorrow at 11am.
