The NHL playoff pushes are starting to heat up and we can see that with recent trades.

On Wednesday the trades continued as the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks swung a four player deal.

The Senators have acquired goaltender Anders Nilsson and forward Darren Archibald from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for goaltender Mike McKenna, forward Tom Pyatt and Ottawa's sixth-round selection in the 2019 NHL Draft.

There's been some chatter that Senators veteran goalie Craig Anderson could be on the move and this deal could possibly set that up.

Vancouver on the other hand gets a very serviceable forward in Pyatt as they continue to make their playoff push.
