The Boston Bruins eliminated the Columbus Blue Jackets last night and booked a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals.
However they might start their next playoff series without one of their best defenseman.
The NHL Department of Player Safety announced on Tuesday that Bruins' defenseman Charlie McAvoy will have a hearing for his hit on Josh Anderson Monday night.
McAvoy laid down a hit on Columbus Blue Jackets forward Josh Anderson which many believe was a head shot and resulted in a two minute penalty for an illegal check to the head.
Blue Jackets' captain Nick Foligno wasn't too happy about the play and spoke to reporters about it after the game.
"It (stinks)," Foligno said. "I just hate to see a teammate lying on the ground on a hit that's unnecessary."
Check out the play for yourself below, do you think he'll be suspended?
