Things are getting tense across the NHL today which could be a day full of eliminations.

One team has already been eliminated today and they've decided it's unacceptable and have moved on from their general manager.

Andy Strickland of Fox Sports Midwest reports that the Florida Panthers have moved on from general manager Dave Tallon.

The Panthers have been stuck in neutral for awhile and despite the gift of the Stanley Cup Qualifiers, they weren't able to take advantage and were eliminated by the New York Islanders.

Tallon joined the Panthers in 2010 before eventually becoming president and then again GM in 2017.

More to come.
