It's been a summer of drama for Edmonton Oilers forward and restricted free agent Jesse Puljujarvi.
The 21 year old requested a trade earlier this year and threatened to jump overseas if the Oilers don't trade him before the season starts.
It's definitely become clear that Puljujarvi wants nothing to do with the Oilers.
However the 2016 4th overall pick hasn't exactly been ripping up the NHL with only 37 points in 139 career games so he doesn't have much leverage.
He has followed through with his threat though as he signed a contract with Oulun Karpat of the Finnish Liiga.
Puljujarvi says his goal is still to come back to North America and play in the NHL, however will play for Oulun until the Oilers figure out a way to move him.
