Earlier this year a video featuring Evgeny Kuznetsov made it's rounds on the internet showing him near some cocaine in a hotel room.
While the video didn't show Kuznetsov doing the actual cocaine, it was ready for use and right in front of the star.
The NHL didn't think much of it, however the IIHF felt otherwise.
It decided to test Kuznetsov and he tested positive for cocaine.
The Capitals forward will be suspended four years from international play which will keep him out of the upcoming Olympics if NHL players are allowed.
Oh wow - IIHF suspends Caps' Evgeny Kuznetsov for 4 years over positive cocaine test at worlds https://t.co/ksJli2U9vj
