The Toronto Maple Leafs decided to do a quick makeover of their assistant coaches and they just revealed their most recent hire.

After lots of chatter regarding the possibility of Bruce Boudreau joining the staff, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports they've hired somebody else.

According to Friedman, the Leafs have hired former NHLer Manny Malhotra.

Malhotra was recently part of the Vancouver Canucks organization and is looking forward to his new home.

"I'm now very excited for this opportunity with the Leafs moving forward - to be working with Sheldon, his staff and this young, talented team."

What do you think of the Leafs' decision to go with Malhotra instead of Boudreau?
