With the NHL and NHLPA coming to an agreement regarding the 24 team playoff bracket, it sounds like they've also been able to nail something else down.

The NHL Draft Lottery.

Over the years the Draft Lottery has been held either the day before the playoffs start or during the first round.

Of course this year is like no other, but it seems we do have a date.

According to TVA Sports' Renaud Lavoie, the Draft Lottery will be held on June 26.

This could be a good indication that the playoffs should start around then and the Draft Lottery will be held to help build some hype and momentum regarding the return of hockey.

As of now it's more than likely only the seven NHL teams outside of the 24 team playoff bracket will participate in the lottery.
