We've got some more controversy in the NHL regarding a bit hit from Sunday night.
The Vegas Golden Knights were able to wrap up a tight 1-0 win against the Arizona Coyotes which came down to a third period goal.
While it was a hard fought game by both sides, it's a big hit by Ryan Reaves which took over the highlight reel.
Reaves went up high on Coyotes defenseman Jordan Gross.
The Golden Knights forward wasn't assessed a penalty on the play but many believed he would be receiving a call from the Department of Player Safety.
That won't be the case as the NHL will once again look away for a dangerous hit.
Do you think they made the right call?
Check out the play below:
My understanding is that Golden Knights F Ryan Reaves will not face any supplemental discipline for this hit on Coyotes D Jordan Gross. #VegasBorn https://t.co/gOLHOE4XSg
