The New York Rangers took down the Boston Bruins yesterday however the main story regarding the game has been a hockey glove.
Rangers forward Artemi Panarin took off his glove on the bench and threw it at Bruins' forward Brad Marchand who was on the B's bench.
After the game Marchand said it caught him off guard.
“That one caught me off guard a little bit.”
“We were talking about what we had for Thanksgiving dinner. He didn’t like what I ate.”
Many believed that the incident needed to be looked at by the NHL and it was.
On Saturday the NHL announced that Panarin has been fined $5000.
