The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Jim Rutherford announced that there would be some major changes this offseason and that continued today.
After firing all their assistant coaches and trading their first round pick for Kasperi Kapanen, the Penguins have no shipped a forward out of town.
NHL insider Darren Dreger reports that the Penguins have shipped forward Nick Bjugstad off to the Minnesota Wild.
The return is reportedly a conditional draft pick which might even a 7th.
More to come.
