A bit of surprising move on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers connected for a trade.

After the Buffalo Sabres sent Eric Staal to the Montreal Canadiens, it was the New York Rangers turn to send one of their forwards away.

The Rangers shipped controversial forward Brendan Lemieux to the Kings.

In exchange for Lemieux, the Rangers received the Kings 2021 4th round pick.

The 25 year old is known for his gritty and sometimes unsportsmanlike play and has registered 59 penalty minutes in 31 games so far this year after registering 111 in 59 games last year.
