Nothing is going right for the Buffalo Sabres right now.
One of the team's that many analytic experts predicted to have a turn around season, especially with new head coach Phil Housley having spent time in Nashville, is stuck in reverse and looking like they'll land another lottery pick.
It looks like the team has made the first of what could be many changes.
The Sabres and general manager Jason Botterill announced that they've placed 34 year old forward Matt Moulson on waivers.
Moulson enjoyed great success playing beside John Tavares in New York with seasons of 30,31 and 36 goals. However after signing a huge five year deal prior to the 2014-15 season with the Sabres, he's production has had a drastic drop off and he's never even be able to hit the 20 goal plateau since.
Do you think Moulson is done in the NHL?
The Buffalo Sabres today announced that forward Matt Moulson will be placed on waivers at noon for the purpose of assignment.https://t.co/h9YUgrbI5m
