It's been a tough last couple of years for Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan.
Ryan has been playing for a struggling Sens' organization and asked for a trade earlier this season.
However no team was willing to take on his salary and now Ryan will be leaving the team for personal reasons.
The NHL and NHLPA announced today that Ryan will be entering the player assistance program.
Ryan has one goal and four points in 16 games this season.
We wish him the best of luck and hope he finds a good place in his mind and heart.
