The Detroit Red Wings are headed for another season in the NHL's basement and are already looking to sell some pieces.

While it's no secret the team would like to sell veteran defenseman Marc Staal, it's another dman that's currently garnering interest.

According to various sources including Jimmy Murphy from Boston Hockey Now, the Red Wings are currently taking calls on defenseman Danny DeKeyser.

Unlike Stall who will be UFA after this season, DeKeyser has an extra year of contract with a $5million cap hit.

While DeKeyser isn't an offensive powerhouse with 123 points in 447 games, he's a minute eater who would add great depth to any team.

The Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils are two teams that seem to have the strongest interest.
