The Detroit Red Wings got beatdown by the Toronto Maple Leafs last night 6-0, and beatdowns have been the story of their season.

The Wings are in clear tank mode and we can expect a couple of trades coming up throughout the next couple of months.

One player who was rumoured to be on the trade block last year looks to be right back on there.

According to various reports, the Red Wings will look to move veteran defenseman Mike Green again.

The problem with moving Green is his obvious health issues and the fact he has a no trade clause, which he wasn't willing to lift last year.

If Green can get healthy over the last couple of months he would be a good rental for a playoff team as he'll be UFA after this season and can still contribute on the power play.

Wings general manager Steve Yzerman will definitely be trying to move any older asset he can.
