It's been what seems like a really odd ending to the end of the relationship between the Winnipeg Jets and Dustin Byfuglien.
The defenseman has been a key part of the Jets roster and success over the last couple of years however decided this summer that he's not sure he wants to come back.
Now the NHLPA is filing a grievance against the Jets challenging his suspension.
It was reported last month that Byfuglien went and had surgery without consulting with the Jets first.
There's been some drama between the two sides as other reports had Byfuglien considering retirement.
The Jets gave Byfuglien a leave of absence before they decided to suspend him for not showing up to camp.
It's definitely going to be an interesting story to follow.
