The Calgary Flames had a disappointing season.

After finally getting the piece they felt they were missing for years in goalie Mike Smith, the team still wasn't able to put it together and land a playoff spot.

The team has no draft picks in the first three rounds of this years draft, no secondary scoring and about $24million invested into five defensemen heading into next year.

The team will have to move a defenseman if they hope to address any of their problems heading into next year and Eric Francis of the Calgary Sun mentions two names in particular will likely be on the block this summer.

Francis labels T.J. Brodie and Dougie Hamilton has the two defensemen likely to be sacrificed this summer. Brodie, a left handed shot has a modified no trade clause, while righty Hamilton has no clause and both are signed for the next couple of years.

Is it inevitable one of them gets moved before the draft?
