We saw some pretty interesting names placed on waivers over the last couple of weeks.
One of those names is New York Islanders prospect Josh Ho-Sang.
Prior to being placed on waivers, Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello confirmed to reporters that the 23 year old requested a trade.
Ho-Sang cleared waivers and is ready to start to prove himself in the AHL.
The young forward has put out a message to the rest of the NHL, Ho-Sang is ready to prove himself and do time in the AHL for any organization.
He also wants to point out the fact to other teams that he hasn't been bounced around from organization to organization.
A trade will happen but it could be pretty complex according to one NHL executive who told Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
