It was one of the big stories over the weekend.

A little beef between Boston Bruins' forward Brad Marchand and New York Rangers' forward Artemi Panarin.

Marchand said something to Panarin between the benches that upset Panarin and resulted in him throwing his glove at Marchand.

It was all over the highlight reels.

Marchand joked that he said something about Thanksgiving while sources from the Rangers said Marchand said something very offensive in regards to Panarin and his Russian heritage.

While speaking about his recent suspension, Marchand also revealed what he said to Panarin.

"I said that no one in Russia likes him. So if that is now what is setting guys over the edge, then this is the softest league in the world."

"And no one should be allowed to say anything. Because there's a lot worse things said out there than that. If that's what he's crying about, then it is what is is."

What do you think of Marchand's comments?
