One of this summer's biggest free agents is Columbus Blue Jackets forward Matt Duchene.

Duchene put together the second 30 goal season of his career and registered five goals in 10 games for the Blue Jackets during the playoffs.

This will be the first time Duchene gets to touch free agency during his career and it sounds like he's going to make the most of it.

According to NHL insider Darren Dreger, Duchene will likely get paid over $9million a season in free agency.

That's a lot of money for Duchene who hasn't always been the most consistent player in his career.

Jeff Skinner who just scored 40 goals was given $9million a year.

Do you think Duchene is worth that kind of money?
