Once and if the NHL is finally able to complete the 2019-20 NHL season, free agency is definitely going to be interesting.
The salary cap won't go up for the 2020-21 season and that means a lot of teams will let some big names hit the open market.
One of those is Florida Panthers winger Mike Hoffman.
While Hoffman is more known for his off ice drama with Erik Karlsson, he's quietly been one of the leagues most consistent scorers.
The 30 year old is coming off a season that saw him score 29 goals in 69 games while making $5.1million.
His age might be a question mark however his production isn't.
Hoffman put up 36 goals last year for the Panthers and has 359 points in 493 career NHL games.
According Eklund of HockeyBuzz, the Montreal Canadiens are expected to make a strong push for the sniper during the offseason.
