The drama in New York continues thanks to one young forward.

Over the weekend young Rangers prospect Lias Andersson requested a trade out of New York.

Not only did he request a trade, but he also walked away from the team and refuses to play for the Rangers or their AHL affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack.

Because of his actions, the Rangers have decided to suspend the forward.

Larry Brooks of the New York Post reports that the Rangers have actually been trying to trade the forward since he was demoted to the AHL in November.

Brooks adds that it'll be hard to find a trade partner because there's not much of a market for a forward who "lacks speed, explosiveness and isn’t creative with the puck."

It might be tough to move the forward who's best known for throwing his silver medal in the stands during the World Juniors instead of any of his actual play.
