The NHL has been extremely strong and consistent with keeping any NHL players name secret who tested positive for COVID-19.
So far only Auston Matthews name has come out and the Toronto Maple Leafs' forward confirmed the news himself.
Without being speculated about, one Edmonton Oilers player voluntarily admitted he tested positive as well.
After missing the first couple of days of Phase 3, Oilers defenseman Caleb Jones reveals that he tested positive just a little while ago.
Jones said he didn't have any symptoms when he tested positive but isolated for two weeks as per protocol.
After going through the system, Jones said he has full confidence in how the NHL is handling the pandemic.
Jones confirms that he tested positive for covid. Had no symptoms and isolated for 2 weeks.
