It's done every year by a couple of different sources and this year The Athletic was the first to get theirs up.

A player poll ran across the league covering a variety of subjects.

The Athletic switched it up this time with a couple of different questions and one was "Who is the most overrated player in the NHL?"

The answer?

The Nashville Predators $9million a season defenseman P.K. Subban.

Despite Subban being a former Norris Trophy winner, Subban was the clear leader of the category receiving 23% of the votes with Winnipeg's Patrik Laine coming in second with 9% of the vote.

According to The Athletic, one player said "He's got a good shot and that's about it" Ouch!
