The Nashville Predators have never been scared to hand out or take on big contracts however it doesn't always work out.

Last year they were able move PK Subban's heavy contract, however this year they aren't able to move one of their forwards like they'd hoped for.

Predators GM David Poile has been trying to trade Kyle Turris all season and there hasn't been any takers despite the fact Turris carries no trade protection.

What he does carry is a $6million AAV through the 2023-24 season.

Not exactly the contract number you want to be paying out for a player who has 16 goals in the last two seasons.

That's why Adam Vingan of The Athletic believes the Predators will more than likely just take the hit and buy Turris out saving them $4million annually through 2024.

While he hasn't fit in with the Preds, Turris registered 27 goals in his last full season with the Senators in 2016-17.

Would you be willing to take a shot on the 30 year old forward?
