The New Jersey Devils remain a bit of a weird team who at first glance would be considered still in rebuild mode but some offseason acquisitions would say otherwise.

General manager Tom Fitzgerald went and signed Dougie Hamilton to a monster deal along with adding Tomas Tatar and Jonathan Bernier.

Now it seems they might be shipping one player out of town.

According to reports the Devils are currently shopping forward Miles Wood.

The 26 year old made a lot of noise last season as he registered 17 goals in 55 games and isn't afraid to throw the body around either.

He's entering the final year of his deal which carries a $2.75million cap hit before he becomes a restricted free agent with arbitration rights next offseason.
