Despite having arguably the best player in the game, the Edmonton Oilers are struggling once again to find any success.
Connor McDavid continues to do his thing with 67 points in 44 games, fourth best in the league.
The problem is, the Oilers need help everywhere, upfront, on defense, and even in nets.
Right now the priority seems to be to find some immediate help up front as TSN's Ryan Rishaug reports that the Oilers have "scouts and staff deployed en masse".
This could mean that fans around the league will get to witness yet another legendary Peter Chiarelli move.
Oilers organization is on a full court press to find help at forward. Scouts and staff deployed en masse. Cap situation could make it tough, but first round pick, a goaltender, maybe a young developing forward likely all in play.
