The Buffalo Sabres are expected to go through a roster overhaul this offseason after 22 members of the front office were fired.
Sabres GM Jason Botterill is out and some of his acquisitions are expected to follow.
While most of the talk has been about Jack Eichel and Rasmus Ristolainen, it seems the team might ship out somebody else.
Sabres' insider Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports that Brandon Montour will likely be a casualty of the changes going on.
Harrington points out how Montour didn't really get along with new Sabres' head coach Ralph Krueger which resulted in the 26 year old seeing the lowest average ice time he's seen so far in his young NHL career.
This all resulted in him having the worst offensive season of his career as well and Harrington believes he could be flipped so the Sabres can land some offensive help.
As Harrington writes "Montour better keep a real estate agent's number handy."
