The Ottawa Senators season is clearly a disaster and it's already time to start unloading contracts.

While the Senators weren't exactly expected to be contenders, they've looked way worse than expected.

We've already heard that forward Derek Stepan wants out even though he just got there after the Senators traded a second round pick for him.

Now it seems the Senators are looking to move a defenseman as well.

According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Senators will be looking to move defenseman Mike Reilly in the coming weeks.

A package of Stepan and Reilly is possible, however they might wait until Erik Brannstrom is back in the lineup after suffering an undisclosed injury recently and will be out 7-10 days.

While Reilly doesn't hold a lot of value on his own, he's a great throw in for any Stepan trade and can eat minutes as a 6-7 defenseman.

It's likely we'll see the Senators get rid of a lot of players this season.
