The Minnesota Wild are off to a great start to the season sitting tied for first place in the Central Division with the Winnipeg Jets.

However all is not fun and games in Minny.

According to Minnesota Wild insider Michael Russo, there's big problems in the locker room.

The problem seems to be veteran forward Kevin Fiala and his relationship with head coach Dean Evason.

Russo reports that sources have told him it's extremely tense and his time in Minnesota won't be much longer.

"He’s a pending restricted free agent with the right to become an unrestricted free agent in 2023. If the Wild can’t afford him or just don’t want to afford him or commit to him, it’s very possible he’ll be traded, perhaps even soon because he’s not playing well and things are getting visibly uncomfortable between him and Evason."

Fiala currently has 10 points in 17 games but only 2 of those are goals. He's currently playing on the first line with Ryan Hartman and Mats Zuccarello.
