Today marks the deadline for teams trying to get to their roster limits before the season opens on Wednesday.
That means we'll likely see some trades today before the 5PM EST deadline.
We saw yesterday that the Penguins are trying to frantically trade defenseman Jack Johnson and now it looks like the Minnesota Wild are trying hard to move a player.
According to James O'Brien of NBC Sports, the Wild are done with forward Victor Rask.
As of now it seems that the 26 year old will likely be a healthy scratch to start the season.
New Wild GM Bill Guerin will likely have a tough time trying to trade Rask as he was a complete disaster last year with only three goals in 49 games between the Carolina Hurricanes and Minnesota Wild.
Aside from last year's disaster, Rask has shown potential throughout his career and has 166 points in 362 career NHL games.
