The San Jose Sharks took a tough loss last night at the hands of the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 6-2.

What makes it worse is that thanks to the loss, the Sharks are now tied for last place in the Honda West Division.

After the game, Sharks head coach Bob Boughner wasn't shy at all about pointing the finger at goalie Martin Jones.

The goalie let in three early goals and it probably would have been a good idea to pull him instead of leaving him for another three goals.

“In retrospect, maybe I should have,” Boughner said

Devan Dubnyk is currently dealing with an injury, so they had no choice but to roll out Martin Jones and Boughner wasn't impressed at all.

“That’s not up to our standard, that goaltending,” Boughner said. “I mean, we’ve given him a chance here to grab the net, especially with (Dubnyk) being hurt. Again, we’re not expecting him to win hockey games for us, to stand on his head. But we’ve got to have solid goaltending, especially at the beginning of games.

“It’s not up to our standard and I’m sure it’s not up to his own.”
