There's been tons and tons of speculation regarding an upcoming Carolina Hurricanes fire sale during the summer, and it looks like it's about to go down.
Players that have been labeled as officially on the block include forward Jeff Skinner and defenseman Justin Faulk and Noah Hanifin.
New Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon has stated that the only untouchable on his team his Sebastian Aho.
What it would cost to land Faulk or Hanifin we don't know, but thanks to NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun we now know what it'll take to land Skinner.
LeBrun reports in his latest article for The Athletic that the Hurricanes are looking for a first round pick and a prospect in exchange for the three time 30 goal scorer.
Skinner will be UFA after the 2018-19 season, but it still seems like a pretty reasonable price for the 26 year old.
