From all accounts disgruntled Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Puljujarvi is headed over to Europe to play the season.
Unless of course a team is willing to give up Oilers' GM Ken Holland's heavy asking price.
Holland is looking for a draft pick and prospect or a young NHL forward who can jump into the top nine right away.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, two teams are making a serious push for the young forward.
Friedman reports them to be the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning.
"And I think Carolina is willing to give them one of their prospects, maybe a guy like Gauthier, but is not so interested in giving the pick. I think Tampa Bay, they've flirted with back and forth, they kinda know which Tampa prospect they might be able to get, but again I think it's a combination of finding the two things that they want: pick + prospect"
It's incredible how the Lightning can just be in on everybody.
