The Montreal Canadiens season isn't going as they had planned.

After a run to the Stanley Cup Finals last year, the team has been decimated by injuries to start the 2021-22 season and things are just a mess.

Shea Weber, Carey Price, Mike Hoffman, Joel Edmundson, Mathieu Perreault, Paul Byron and now Jake Allen are all sidelined with some form of injury.

It's resulted in poor results on the ice and tempers are starting to show.

During last night's game it was Brendan Gallagher who lost his cool and knocked New York Rangers' forward Barclay Goodrow right in the face with a closed fist punch with 30 seconds left in the game.

Gallagher was given a game misconduct for the play.

Do you think Gallagher should be suspended for this?
