When the Calgary Flames hired head coach Darryl Sutter, it was clear there would be a culture change.
Sutter is an old school type of coach and he's already made his message pretty clear.
It seemed to work from the jump but the Flames are right back to their losing ways and before Saturday night's game Sutter decided to call out one of his top players.
Flames' forward Johnny Gaudreau plays his 500th game tonight and Sutter is hoping for an effort from the forward who he hasn't been impressed by.
“Hopefully he has more energy than in his 499th game.”
There's been lots of chatter that Gaudreau is looking for a trade out of Calgary and you can probably bet that it's going to happen this offseason thanks to Sutter.
