The Los Angeles Kings are down 0-3 in their first round series against the Vegas Golden Knights and there's plenty for Kings head coach John Stevens to freak out about.
Regardless of the Kings play, Stevens was extremely upset a play involving his captain Anze Kopitar.
Golden Knights' Erik Haula butt-ended Kopitar in response to being cross checked by the Kings' captain.
“We got a guy suspended for making a hockey play, and he butt-ends one of the best hockey players in the world in the face with the butt-end of his stick. So if I was confused before, I’m bewildered now. That’s an intent-to-injure play,” Stevens said of the play.
“You guys make the judgement, because it’s a bunch of b.s. to be honest with you.”
Haula didn't receive any penalty on the play.
Check it out in the video below, should Haula be suspended?
