Calgary Flames' forward Milan Lucic is often labelled as washed up and slow and considered one of those players who the speed of today's game has left him in the past. 

However Lucic keeps chugging along and has registered 13 points in 34 games this season including 8 goals. 

But as always, Lucic's strong point is his strength and physical game. 

Last year some vintage Lucic showed up. 

Lucic dropped the gloves with Ottawa Senators tough guy Scott Sabourin last night and absolutely poured it on in what could be considered the beat down of the year so far. 

Sabourin had to head back to the locker room after the fight for some repairs.
