When two players drop the gloves in the NHL they usually know who they're fighting and what the other can take.
However in amateur leagues across North America it can much different as guys just want to see blood.
An unfortunate scene in Quebec this weekend during a game in the LHSAAAQ league.
Gabriel Mailhot and Keven Charest dropped the gloves and both needed to be rushed to hospital with Charest taking the worst of it.
Charest suffered multiple fractures in his face and punctured his sinus which will all require surgery.
Mailhot received a major laceration on his face which actually poured out on the ice during the fight but you the refs were quick to hide the live bleeding.
