The Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins locked up in Philly on Saturday afternoon for a matinee matchup.

It's a big game for the Flyers who have lost nine games in a row and are trying to avoid tying their franchise worst record of 10 losses in a row.

During the first period of the game, things got really really nasty.

Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov nailed Bruins forward Brad Marchand with a questionable hit. Marchand was hunched over and Provorov crunched Marchand's head with his arm/elbow.

The play drew a crowd and Provorov was called for an illegal check to the head, Marchand looked a bit dazed out after the hit.

The game has already also featured a fight between Kevan Miller and Wayne Simmonds, and another nasty hit by Flyers forward Sean Couturier on Bruins rookie Charlie McAvoy.

Here's the hit by Provorov on Marchand, do you think Provorov will be suspended?
