The Minnesota Wild seem to be doing what they do every year, barely hang on to a playoff spot.

It doesn't get much better when they do make the playoffs as they've been knocked out of the first round for three years in a row.

Currently the Wild sit in third place of the Central Division just one point ahead of the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche and nine points behind the second place Nashville Predators.

Most would think the Wild would be looking to add a little punch at the deadline, but with Wild GM Paul Fenton's recent comments it sounds like they could be ready for a big facelift.

“One day I’m thinking that we have the opportunity to go forward and one day I’m thinking that, you know, it’s not that great of a team.”
